Dress Code for Visitors
All visitors must be dressed appropriately. Visitors clothing (male, female, and children 10 years old and older) will consist of pants, shirt or blouse that is not sleeveless, shoes designated for street wear (including tennis shoes) and inclement weather jacket, if necessary. Female visitors must wear bras and panties.
The following clothing is not allowed in the Saint Martin Parish Correctional Center:
- Any form of suggestive or revealing clothing
- Camouflage Clothing
- Halter Tops
- Low cut articles of clothing exposing the chest
- Mini-Dress
- Mini-Skirts
- No shower shoes, house slippers, or thongs shall be permitted
- See-through clothing
- Sun Dresses
- Sweat Shirts
- Tank Tops
- White T-Shirts
Individuals not properly dressed shall not be allowed to visit. Changes to the dress code will only be authorized by the Warden or assistant Warden on a case by case basis.
