Update-Jude Guidry Arrested In Lafayette Parish - 9/1/2016 -

Yesterday morning we asked for the public’s assistance in locating Jude Guidry, 22, Lafayette, who was wanted in connection with a St. Martin Parish Home Invasion.

This evening, Deputies with the Lafayette Parish Sheriff’s Office arrested Jude Guidry, 22, at a Lafayette residence. Thank you to the Lafayette Parish Sheriff’s Office andthank you for your assistance in getting this information out to the public.

Two Cecilia Men Arrested In Connection With Home Invasion

Whereabouts Of Third Suspect Being Sought

(St. Martinville, LA.)-In the early morning hours of August 21, 2016, Deputies with the St. Martin Parish Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a home invasion at a residence in the 1000 block of School Street in Cecilia, LA. Following an investigation into the incident, Investigators with the St. Martin Parish Sheriff’s Office were able to identify three suspects. Yesterday afternoon, the following two suspects were arrested and charged as follows:

Baylen Dupuis, 17 Cecilia: 1 count of LA. R.S. 14:62.8-Home Invasion

2 counts of LA. R.S. 14:67.15-Theft of Firearms

Destin Hail, 20, Cecilia:1 count of LA. R.S. 14:24/62.8-Principal to Home Invasion

2 counts of LA. R.S. 14 24/:67.15- Principal to Theft of Firearms

Following their arrest, both men were booked into the St. Martin Parish Correctional Center on the above charges. Destin Hail was released after posting a $7,000.00 bond and Baylen Dupuis remains incarcerated on a $50,000.00 bond.

The third suspect is identified as Jude Guidry, 22, Lafayette, LA., is wanted on the following charges:

1 count of LA. R.S. 14:62.8-Home Invasion

2 counts of LA. R.S. 14:67.15-Theft of Firearms
