St. Martinville Man Arrested In Connection With Manufacturing Counterfeit Methamphetamine

(St. Martinville, LA)-This morning following a report of suspected drug activity, Agents with the St. Martin Parish Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Division executed a search warrant at a property located in the 1100 block of Papit Guidry Rd. in St. Martinville, LA.

Following the execution of the warrant, Agents recovered a significant amount of crystal substance created to mimic Methamphetamine along with Anabolic Steroids and Marijuana. Chase Richard, 30, St. Martinville, was arrested on the following charges:

Possession with the intent to distribute a counterfeit Controlled Dangerous Substance classified in Schedule II.

Possession of Schedule I Controlled Dangerous Substance (Marijuana)

Possession of Schedule III Controlled Dangerous Substance (Anabolic Steroids)

   

Following his arrest, he was booked into the St. Martin Parish Correctional Center on the above charges.
