Mandeville Woman Arrested On Criminal Conspiracy and Introduction of Contraband Into A Penal Institution Charges Following Investigation

Of March 22, 2018 Arrest Of A Lafayette Woman On Similar Charges, Two Inmates Also Facing Charges

(St. Martinville, LA)-On Tuesday, March 22, 2018, Investigators with the St. Martin Parish Sheriff’s Office arrested Dejrah Cullivan, 25, Lafayette, in connection with her attempting to smuggle cell phones in to the St. Martin Parish Correctional Center.

Upon further investigation, it was learned that Cullivan along with Mandie Marie Logothety, 23, Mandeville, had conspired to attempt to smuggle additional cell phones in to the facility. At the culmination of the investigation, a

Warrant of Arrest was obtained for Mandie Marie Logothety.

On April 4, 2018, Investigators with the St. Martin Parish Sheriff’s Office and Deputies with the St. Tammany Parish Sheriff’s Office executed the arrest warrant and Mandie Marie Logothety was taken into custody without incident. She was transported today to the St. Martin Parish Correctional Center where she was booked on the following charges:

2 Counts-LA R.S. 14:26-Criminal Conspiracy

2 Counts-LA R.S. 14:402-Introduction Of Contraband Into A Penal Institution

In addition, Memphis Matthews, 29, and Christopher Couret, 37, who are both currently housed in the St. Martin Parish Correctional Center have also been charged as follows for their role in conspiring to smuggle contraband into the facility:

2 Counts-LA R.S. 14:402-Introduction Of Contraband Into A Penal Institution

  

At the time of this release, Logothety’s bond had been set at $4,000.00. Cullivan bonded out of the St. Martin Parish Correctional Center shortly after her March 22, 2018 arrest. Anyone who attempts to bring contraband into the St. Martin Parish Correctional Center will be prosecuted to the full extent of the law.
