Lafayette Woman Arrested For Attempting To Introduce Contraband Into The St. Martin Parish Correctional Center

(St. Martinville, LA)-Following an investigation that began on Tuesday, March 20, 2018, Investigators with the St. Martin Parish Sheriff’s Office arrested a Lafayette woman this morning in connection with the discovery of cell phones that investigators determined were going to be smuggled into the St. Martin Parish Correctional Center.

Following her arrest, Dejrah Cullivan, 25, Lafayette, LA., was charged as follows:

14:26-Criminal Conspiracy-2 counts

14:402-Contraband Taking To/From Penal Institution 2-counts

She was booked into the St. Martin Parish Correctional Center following her arrest and at the time of this release, no bond had been set. Anyone attempting to introduce contraband into the St. Martin Parish Correctional Center will be charged to the full extent of the law.

This is an ongoing investigation and no further information is available at this time.
