Investigators Seeking Information In Reference To Last Night's Shooting On Melvin Dupuis Road - 11/5/2017 -

INVESTIGATORS SEEKING INFORMATION IN REFERENCE TO LAST NIGHT’S SHOOTING ON MELVIN DUPUIS ROAD

(St. Martinville, LA)- Shortly after 9:00 p.m. last night, Deputies with the St. Martin Parish Sheriff’s Office responded to a call of shots being fired in the 1200 block of Melvin Dupuis Road in Breaux Bridge, LA. Upon arrival deputies were able to locate the residence where the shooting originated, however; no one was located at the residence. Upon further investigation, they were able to determine that multiple shots had been fired.

A short time later, Deputies were notified that two people who were later identified as Terrance Senegal, 29, Arnaudville, LA., and Dedrick Senegal, 20, Breaux Bridge, LA., had arrived at a local hospital for treatment of non-life threatening gunshot wounds. Both men were treated for their injuries and released.

Investigators have confirmed that there were at least two suspects involved. However, witnesses were only able to provide information on one of the suspects who is described as being a black male with short hair wearing an unknown type of ball cap.
