Catahoula Woman Arrested For Selling Drugs To Man In Parks, LA.

(St. Martinville, LA)-This morning, following an investigation into reports of suspected illegal drug activity, Narcotics agents with the St. Martin Parish Sheriff’s Office arrived at a residence in the 1000 Block of Oscar Guidry Road in Parks to execute a narcotics search warrant. Upon arrival, Agents observed and interrupted a drug transaction in progress. Katie Latiolais, 47, Catahoula, was at the property attempting to sell an individual who was identified as Neal Broussard, 37, Parks, methamphetamines.

After detaining the subjects, Narcotics Agents searched the residence and recovered a significant amount of methamphetamines. Both subjects were arrested and charged as follows:

Katie Latiolais:

Possession with the Intent to Distribute Schedule II CDS (Methamphetamine)

Obstruction of Justice

Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

Neal Broussard:

Attempted Possession of a Schedule II CDS (Methamphetamine)

Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

Transactions involving drug proceeds

Following their arrests, they were both booked into the St. Martin Parish Correctional Center on the above-charges. At the time of this release, no bond had been set.
