Breaux Bridge Man Arrested On Drug and Firearms Charges - 12/8/2016 -

BREAUX BRIDGE MAN ARRESTED ON DRUG AND FIREARM CHARGES

(Breaux Bridge, LA)- This morning following a report of suspected drug activity, Narcotics Agents with the St. Martin Parish Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant at a property located in the 1700 block of Grande Anse Hwy. Following the execution of the warrant, Agents recovered two firearms, U.S. Currency, several different illegal drugs including Methamphetamine, and materials used to package and distribute the illegal drugs.

Brandon Scrantz, 34, Breaux Bridge, was arrested and charged with the following:

1 Count of Possession with the intent to Distribute Schedule II CDS (Methamphetamine)

1 Count of Possession of Schedule IV CDS (Tramadol)

1 Count of Illegal Carrying of Weapons

1 Count of Possession of Schedule III CDS (Anabolic Steroids)

1 Count of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

Following his arrest, he was booked into the St. Martin Parish Correctional Center on the above charges. At the time if this release, no bond had been set.
