Trae Richard turned himself in last night and was subsequently booked into the St. Martin Parish Correctional Center on the below charges. His bond has been set at $100,000.00.

Breaux Bridge Man Arrested In Connection With Armed Robbery in Breaux Bridge

Second Suspect Being Sought

(St. Martinville, LA)On Sunday afternoon, July 10, 2016, Deputies responded to a report of an armed robbery at a residence in the 1100 block of Hebert Avenue in Breaux Bridge, LA., whereby a suspect was alleged to have fired at least two shots from a firearm he brandished during the robbery. Following an investigation, this afternoon, Investigators with the St. Martin Parish Sheriff’s Office arrested Milton Batiste, 19, Breaux Bridge, LA., and he was charged as follows:

(1 count) LA. R.S. 14:64- Armed Robbery

(1 count) LA. R.S. 14:94- Illegal Use Of A Weapon

Following his arrest, he was booked into the St. Martin Parish Correctional Center on the above charges and his bond was set at $200,000.00.

A second suspect, Trae Richard, 20, of Breaux Bridge, is also wanted in connection with the Armed Robbery and anyone knowing the whereabouts of Trae Richard is asked to contact the St. Martin Parish Sheriff’s Office at (337) 394-3071.
