Breaux Bridge Man Arrested Following Arnaudville Shooting Last Night

(St. Martinville, LA)-At approximately 12:30 a.m. this morning, St. Martin Parish Sheriff’s Office Deputies responded to a report of a shooting in the parking lot of a business located in the 1000 block of Main Hwy., in Arnaudville. Investigators with the St. Martin Parish Sheriff’s Office were able to determine that following an altercation in the parking lot, Gage Patin, 26, Breaux Bridge, shot a 55 year old male subject in the back of the leg. The victim was subsequently transported to a local hospital in stable condition. Following the initial investigation, Gage Patin was arrested and charged as follows:

LA. R.S. 14:34-Aggravated Battery-1 count

He also was charged in connection with a previous warrant for the following:

Failure To Appear

Following his arrest, he was booked into the St. Martin Parish Correctional Center on the above charges and his bond was set at $5500.00. The investigation remains ongoing and there is no further information at this time.
